Product Features
Its primary principle addresses the inherent drawbacks of concrete, such as its porous structure, heat of hydration, and drying shrinkage. By adding components that reduce shrinkage, prevent seepage, delay heat release, and enhance strength, it increases the viscosity of pore water in concrete, strengthens the adsorption of water molecules in the gel, and reduces the surface tension of water molecules. This minimizes shrinkage stress caused by capillary water loss, improving the crack resistance and density of concrete. As a result, it achieves functions such as shrinkage reduction, crack resistance, seepage prevention, frost resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal material for formulating shrinkage-compensating concrete.
Performance Indicators
1. Dosage: 6%–8% of cementitious materials for waterproof concrete; 8%–10% of cementitious materials for shrinkage-compensating concrete;
2. Restricted expansion rate: ≥0.035% in water at 7 days;
3. Setting time is essentially the same as that of reference concrete, with strength not lower than that of reference concrete;
4. Significantly reduces the heat of hydration in concrete, lowering the peak heat release, thereby reducing thermal shrinkage and inhibiting cracking in concrete structures;
5. Exhibits good compatibility with other admixtures, causes no corrosion to reinforcement, and does not pollute water quality.
